We are leaving the baby at Grandma's and coming down for some fun in two weeks! Does anybody have any cheap solutions to calling the US? My cell plan would be 59 cents per minute
Go over to the convience store just to the left of the resort. for about $10-15 you will get 60 minutes. They have a phone in the store and you should be fine for the random calls. Don't get a calling card here in the states, you'll loose about 20-30 minutes the first time you use it. buy it there. Also don't use the pay phones in the resort they take another hit on minutes.
we also have att and they do charge by the minute and its not cheap. each text is 10 cents I believe and calls are like 59 cents a minute if not more. we are in rocky point often aka puerto penasco
phone All the times I have gone down there, I have been there with numerous cell providers and none of them really have good rates, all are right around 50 cents a minute or more...I agree with the phone card thing, it has saved me money the last few years, although I still spend a lot cause I do a lot of drunk dialing with my cellphone lol
Maybe we get a better rate because of where we live, large, ever growing hispainic pop. a lot of non nationals here. Maybe they call home a lot , which brings the rates down. Terry
