To those whom are now in possession of the permanent residency:

Do you know if there are limits on how long one can be out of Mexico?

I have a possible job offer(temporary, 5-9 months) in Cleveland(Ohio) but Im unsure about how long I could stay outside Mexico, in one go.

There is no time limit for those who are permanent residents.

Beauty, I didn't look over the entire presentation carefully, but did notice that speaking of the requirements for permanent residency the financial amounts for income and total assets abroad are misstated. For example, it is said that investments [abroad] of $12,000 USD were sufficient, when the actual amount required is nearly ten times that large.

Because an effort was made by the presenter to simplify the information the document can be relied upon only with a certain degree of caution.

Immigration will be keeping tabs on the exit/entry of us PR's however.

Rawkus I'm sure you could handle it. You will have to buy some clothes. When was the last time you were in winter back home? Cleveland does get a lot of snow due to the lake effect
