Anyone have any new information on Pericos Restaurant downtown? We are headed to the Riu Caribe in late March and wanted to make a trip. We have been there probably 5 times in the past but not in the past 7 or 8 years. I know that it closed for a while but then learned that they re-opened. Is it still open for business?
Just so I can assure everyone in our party, is it still safe downtown? We have been there numerous times and have never felt uncomfortable, but with all of the attention on the "violence in Mexico" many are weary.
