Married couple planning our first trip next year when it gets warmer. We are considering the Penthouse option. We aren't rich by any means but do like to go all out on our (rare) vacations. We've read the party noise runs late into the night and interferes with sleep in certain rooms/sections. Is this an issue with the PH's? I figure we'll be exhausted each night and it won't matter but still wanted to ask. Has anyone hosted or been to a party in one and had bad experiences? Any tips or advice for hosting? We would definitely lock up valuables. My biggest concern is people not respecting rules or boundaries we set. Is all that liquor at the bar included?? Are there plenty of mixers? If not, is it easy to get sodas and juice and such, enough for a party? Anyone not enjoy the Penthouse as much as you expected?
Been in the penthouse many times, mostly by invite. It’s a great room and great view. However, it’s absolutely in a location that you can hear the noise. If you plan on sleeping before the bash party is over, you’ll hear it. That’s said, if it’s in the budget and you plan on hosting parties, it’s worth it. I rented it once and didn’t host a party, kind of of waste. I was not willing to let stranger in my room, lol. Having said that, I’ve been to many wild “after parties” in the suite, best part of the entire trip!
