Cancun Fun: Thanks. Might have to try the organic pb. Just feel that $80 for a jar is a "bit" over the top. Ill buy raw ones, and then make a batch and then figure out the total cost of it. Could I ask both you and TJ, how big is the jar in Chedraui? Ill aim at making the same size, then compare the costs.

Amen on the almond and rice drinks. Would be so much healthier than regular milk, but the price is crazy. :(

The almond milk is tastier to me than straight soy milk, rice dream or other non milk beverages. Was buying it at Mega for $43.50 per liter, only available in the cold section. Found it on the shelf, but not in the milk area, at Wallymart Xcaret and I think it was $40.70.

Thank God I am only one person so it is not a huge impact on my milk budget, not drinking much anyway.

Making the almond drink is not really cheaper, nor does it taste any better, than Almond Dream.

The last time I bought West Soy Unsweetened, in the cold section at Mega, with a Feb, 2012, exp date, I opened it and it poured out like cottage cheese. Of course I did not have my receipt. Don't anyone suggest Profeco either please. LOL

Mat: LOL - 50 ks should be more than enough, haha! :D

Ill get the ones in Chedraui, Wal Mart etc. and just peel them. Seems to be the easiest option here.
