That explains why Oliver is going on vacation tomorrow. He was originally scheduled for late August. I guess with the re-model it was the perfect time for him to disappear for awhile. Like others have said I hope it's more than just a tile job. Something to get some airflow going thru there. Firm
I don't think they will improve airflow. It's the configuration of the buildings that block all the breeze. Fans that large are very noisy. Now if they put a top over it and made it enclosed maybe. Other than that it would be very difficult to get air moving through that area.

ummm probably the reason for not telling anyone of the remodel might be that they might book elsewhere....? seems pretty obvious.
So they move stuff to an alternate location for a week. No big deal. I remember going there when they did the nightly shows in the Seafood restaurant. I prefer to look at the positive side and await seeing the new and improved Paty O's!
Geee I always thought it being HOT in PadyO's had to do with the ladies present, and their outfits, and not the ambient temperature... :huh: Jamie
The hotel said that Paty'O will be reopening on Friday so the work will be fairly short-lived. In the meantime, based on the sparse crowd at Nice Shoes last night, it appears as though the majority of people are bailing the hotel at night for the outside clubs.
