I'm going to be in Cancun this weekend when the Pats play the Chargers. Can anyone suggest a great sports bar with big screen TVs and possibly Pats fans to watch the game?
I've been informed that the "new & improved" Caliente has opened and is apparently QUITE NICE!!!! I may just be there myself Sunday.
Don't forget La Taberna downtown on Yaxchilan. The prices are about half what you will pay in the Hotel Zone. Mixed drinks are 2 for 1 and $43 for the order of 2. Beers, I believe are like 2 for $38. There will be no shortage of Americans and Canadians at La Taberna. Thank God the Seahawks lost so we don't have to listen to Boris screaming "Yeah Baby" every two minutes. But if you want to stay in the HZ my pick would be Pat O'Brien's. Just bring your wallet.
