Other than La Vela and Spinnaker, PCB doesn't really do much for me.
It's very spread out, and the weather is a crapshoot.

I've been there twice in march and it was in the 50's and raining both times.

Weather permitting, it's still quite a party.

pcb is the largest destination for spring break in usa! I went there 3 straight years while in college for my undergrad! The place is changing and dennis is correct, the weather is a hit or miss! Could be 80 one day, and 45 and raining the next! Only upside(if you see it that way) is MTV is filming all their shows this year in panama city. they have their own hotel called the MtvU village............thats about all the info as of now, but its certainly not a bad time!! Spinnakers and club lavela will keep you plenty busy during the week!

I didn't think it was more spread out. I stayed at Four Points and that was a 5 minute walk to La Vela and whatever club was next to it. There were a bunch of hotels close by too if I remembered correctly. It was cold and rainy though (last week of March). We were looking for a SB spot within driving distance of Boston. If you are flying, I'd suggest going somewher further south, maybe South Beach and/or Ft Lauderdale.

CAncun is 1000000000 times better than pcb! Weather sucks, the clubs are NOTHING like cancun, and the cops are pretty nasty at times!! But, there is a lot of people partying there. If you stay at the holiday inn, make sure its the sunspree, thats one of the larger spring break hotels!

I can't imagine spending 15 days in Panama City Beach, Florida...

but yes, make sure you're in a central location, walking distance to Club La Vela and Spinnaker.

PCB does not compare to Cancun at all in terms of pure variety, weather, and overall party atmosphere... but it's still a party.

I stayed at the Edgewater Beach Resort when I went... pretty nice place, lots of pools/hottubs on the beach. Can be a little pricey, I caught some deals when I went.

I was there for 4 days. By the time we were leaving, I didn't have this overwhelming "I don't want to leave" feeling that's usually associated with an awesome vacation. It was fun but not great. I don't think I'll do it again. Definitely not for 15 days.

Like I think, think about Miami/Fort Lauderdale/Key West if you have two weeks.

perhaps 2 centre holiday it. PcB then further south to Southbeach or even Daytona Much greater odds on hot weather Panama city is very north!. and breaks it up a little. Club le vela looks pretty good though. Perhaps go pacific coast of mexico Acapulco for a change?
