Sara Palin is spreaking here this saturday.......... I am thinking of going and wearing my Obama mask......bad idea? hahaha kidding I am not going.
Jason, you should go just to see what she's wearing! OK, the Palin shopping spree thing is hilarious. She's supposed to be someone who will help go all mavericky on those special interest waste makers in bad ol' Washington?!?! Seriously, stop it -- you're killing me, here! And this is just one reason why the McCain campaign is accurately described as hapless.
in that case I should wear my "maverick" halloween costume huh? I AM going to a halloween party saturday night hahahahahaha would be great!
i dont particularly like the language that mccain uses :-| &eurl=http://dlisted.com/
you cant tell, but I actually have the authentic name tag on that says Pete Mitchell MAVERICK hahaha its too funny!
I AGREE, MISS APPLE! I READ AN ARTICLE THAT McCAIN CALLS HIS WIFE THE C WORD, EVEN IN FRONT OF OTHER PEOPLE, SO IT'S NOT A SURPRISE.
The most insteresting question! Here's why: - In Canada, the WHOLE campaign, from A to Z, lasts like 40 days. - We basically have the choice between 2 ''real'' parties: Liberals or Conservatives. They differ on some points obviously..but really it's all of the same. - Debate: None whatsoever. Once in a while they will bring up abortion, to stir some shit, but it soon dies down after they realise it's a non issue for most Canadians (was resolved ages ago). - Charismatic leaders: we have none whatsoever. You probably wouldn't recognise Harper (our prime minister - fyi) if you met him in a grocery store. I read an article where they were interviewing Oliver Stone for his latest movie (guess which one), and the man wasn't even aware that Canada had re-elected its prime minister. We have absolutely no exposure. - Budget for the campaign (vs the US): the corner dollar store has more in it's petty cash than the max allowed by government. Also, since we are closely tied economically, it's hard to NOT have an opinion. There are some REAL debates being discussed (war anyone? alternative ways of producing energy anyone? ''drill baby drill'' as our friend Palin is trying to shove down people's throaths??? economic decisions that will have worldwide impacts anyone? the question of racism is also brought up in an angle that was never discussed before. who would have thought that the US could have a black leader, say 20 years ago? Rosa Parks lived not too long ago if you think about it. We certainly have come a long way, which is amazing in itself). That is why this is a brilliant topic that raises real issues that will impact everyone. Including Canadians.
EXACTLY! THE WHOLE WORLD IS INTERESTED. IF OUR ECONOMY IS IN THE TOILET, AS IT IS NOW, WE AREN'T BUYING GOODS FROM OTHER COUNTRIES, SO IT WILL AFFECT THEIR ECONOMY.
