Yes, of course: McCain Gains Slight Lead in Florida and Ohio FOX News/Rasmussen Reports state polling this week shows a slightly improved situation for John McCain compared to a week ago -- though the underlying dynamic of the election still favors Barack Obama. The biggest change is found in Florida where the race is now essentially even with McCain at 49 percent and Obama at 48 percent. A week ago, Obama was up by five percentage points and the week before he held a seven-point lead. The current polling shows McCain's support at its highest level since mid-September. McCain also moved slightly ahead again in Ohio with a 49 percent to 47 percent advantage over Obama. A week ago, those numbers were reversed and Obama had the two-point advantage. Poll: Obama opens biggest lead over McCain http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/27297013/ OR For Republicans, A Grim November Beckons http://www.nationaljournal.com/njonline/ot_20081014_7243.php OR ABC News/Washington Post National Obama 53, McCain 44 OR A scientific poll would be one like the Pew poll out today of 2,600 folks, 1/3 of whom say McCain is too old for the presidency, 1/2 of whom have a negative opinion of Sarah Palin, 2/3 of whom give the McCain campaign a grade of C or worse, and 2/3 of whom give the Obama campaign an A or B. Oh, and it shows Obama up 52-38.
I agree ... it ain't over until it's over, and hopefully, it will be over soon! Matt Lauer opened the Today Show at 7 a.m. this morning with, "Obama now has a double digit lead over McCain, up since last week"
That was wishful thinking, but 100 years without a WS was driving him! Actualy FACTS drive my statement now.......... Id rather have education in the oval office than some 3rd rate degree and someone who was last in their class!
