Two words - Calvin Hill That should tell you all you need to know about the Dallas Cowboy's Problem Child Rehab Program. He's had great success in bringing back players that were on the brink. Next challege... Pac-Man! Waka, Waka, Waka......0.......0.......
cowboys got a steal and a half....a 4th and possible 6th for a guy drafted 6th overall.....regardless of his legal probs he's still a monster on the gridiron
I don't see a coach like Wade Phillips (who is a great coach, but not young by any stretch) being able to control the egos of T.O. and Mrs. PacMan- my prediction is a melt-down of the 'Boys this year. Oh, and a repeat of the......... G-MEN!!!!!
Actually Part of the contrast with certain players that need that extra attention is that their coacehs egos are competing with them. Part of the reason why T.O. worked out is because he didnt have a hothead for a coach. And everyone tried to predict meltdown last year but were wrong. TO is a great teamate...when the coaches make him a woking piece of thier winning game. Regardless if its him getting the ball or being a decoy, or blocking, just as long as he's considered from the beggining as a valuable asset, as Jones and Wade has. The tuna did not, plus is a hot head, and they clashed. I dont even need to mention Philly. As for Pacman, your wrong because all of his problems are OFF field, on field he has a waaaay better record than T.O. There is no issue for Wade, all he has now is 1 extra very good player. All is well. G men will win again, if this is another fluke nfl year...kinda like when the steeler won not long ago.
Ha Ha!!! T.O.'s problem is that there is no one else on the planet besides him- you know all the attention a 2 year old demands? Think T.O. Besides that, he has yet to prove he is a great wide receiver; yeah, he's good- but I wouldn't even mention him as a top 10 receiver in the NFL yet. Drops a lot of passes, and IS afraid to go over the middle (maybe getting hit will bruise his ego). As for Mrs. Pacman- yes, good player. But, egos get the better of players coming off troubled personal lives; few ever get back to where they were before the trouble started. G-men fluke? How bout NOT- No excuses made, they beat all the teams supposedly "unbeatable" by the Giants (and all the sportscasters ATE their words)- and that Super Bowl will go down in history as the day BeliCHEAT died!!!
I share your hate for belecheat. But i think your confusing T.O. for Randy Moss, or maybe most of ANY WR in the game, because T.O. is the dude that DOES go over the middle. The guy has never been criticized for that, go look it up if you dont believe me. And its hilarious how dropped stats are ONLY conducted for 1 or 2 players in the league, by an unofficial source, not NFL. No one really ever knows the numbers, sportscasters are always half takling out they're ass when they try to refer to those stats, because there is no real stats, some "unbiased" soul has the pleasure of discerning, what ball was over or under thrown, and IF that is considered a drop. B.S., those arent stats. This season I saw all the games, and can count on one hand when he bobbled or dropped a pass, on the other hand I counted more times the ball was not in his range. Yet the "stats" would say otherwise. *sigh*...I cant wait till this season begins. :lotsoflove:
Pac may have some competition in the babying department http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3385733
You would think that dude could find somebody else to mix it up with other than his own bodyguard, wouldn't you? Some people have great talent, but their baggage make them a big liability. This guy's one good example.
