Must be a male thing. Green and green sounds like a match to me? Wife just says "matchy matchy" when I do things like that, and heaven forbid if I try to match colors with her!
My wife and I work together. I usual get up and leave before her, she likes her beauty rest. Several times we have completely matched totally unplanned. She swears I do it to on purpose to drive her nuts because she hates it. I am unable to figure out how it is my fault if I leave first but somehow it is. One time she has got so irritated that she drove home and home a changed.
Ziploc packing = winner! Be sure to squeeze out the air to save space. And yes we match daily, she dresses me like I am a play doll. But hey, it is all in good fun. Just won’t do the unicorn tail butt plug. A man has to know his limits!!!
Sean and I do this all the time! I guess I make it easy: when not in Cancun, I am usually wearing black, grey or off-white. It's my professional persona that I escape when I get on the plane. I don't really mind if we match. We've only been married 4 years, and I still adore everything about him. Besides, if we match, at least it means he hasn't mismatched his colours!
I am big fan of this method. But I am also a big fan of re-using the bags for future trips. Our vacations are hard enough on the environment. (Incidentally also looking at how to reduce my use of plastic water bottles next trip we used so many last time)
Space in our suitcases is never an issue. Courtney’s bag is basically half full at most...and 49.9 lbs. it’s all the liquids and bottles of things that she douses herself in that put on the luggage pounds! Ziploc bags just won’t help us, I’m afraid! We just pay for one additional piece of luggage and take a third!
We pack a third bag also to accommodate all the theme wear. We found that the ziplocks help keep things organized with all the stuff in those 3 bags.
