I don't think anyone here was trying to imply that people should do anything but dress how they feel comfortable. Some look forward to wearing things they wouldn't have a chance to wear at home. If everyone tended to wear beach wear at Paty O's, the poster might not want to wear some sexy slinky clubwear. I agree with the consensus that you'll have fun and make new friends regardless of the clothes you wear.
Word of advice - for ladies like me that are useless walking in heels, you won't feel left out wearing a pair of nice flip flops or low sandals with nice clothes for the evening. I brought loads of heels with me last trip, which were left unworn because combination of humid climate, slippy tiles everywhere and my general lack of balance would have spelled disaster! Women can get away with wearing pretty much anything and look fantastic. For guys, you'll want to bring at least a few shirts and pants or nice jeans for the evenings (e.g. not just beach casual-wear for the whole trip).
Gotta agree here! Wear what you want. We've been 5 times and never had any prob fitting in wether it be in shorts, flipflops, tank tops, jeans, whatever. Remember TTR's motto ~ NOBODY KNOWS YOU AND NOBODY GIVES A SHIT! :aktion061: Don't have any prob keeping our check-in bags under 50#'s!! :flash: :ernaehrung005:
Hello, We are TTR regulars, if you go onto the site for your month, ie: February 2013 they will have theme nights posted. The resort holds two regulary!! loungerie night on Thursdays and white night on Fridays as for the rest of the week it changes, from fetish to bali to red to school girl to pirate to whatever the theme is going at the time!! But all in all, it's about the fun, meeting new people and letting go for a change. Keep in mind IT IS VERY HOT at Paty-O's, so pack light weight clothing. It is advised that you dress for dinner then change for Paty-O's. I dress to have a great time and be apart of the whole experience! So go enjoy and remember "Nobody knows you and nobody gives a sh#*!
fun WHY CHANGE AFTER DINNER.............its so much fun going to dinner in a cut away bondage outfit..watching people try not to choke on their food....:cheerleaders:
I love to dress up at night, but just an FYI the flooring at Paty'o bar is very uneven, I had a heck of time with my heals, not that it will stop me from wearing them though.....lol
I really appreciate all the feedback from everyone here. Definately lots of different opinions but the one definite consensus i get is that in the end it doesnt matter and we will have an awesome time no matter what. I like having an excuse to get dressed up a little bit so ultimately i probably will or maybe not  lol. Either way, we both know we will have an awesome time with everyone.....cant wait. :lotsofmichaelfs:
Hi Brent & Kells~ I personally love dressing up. In our area of Colorado, it is pretty casual dressing. Not much dressing up with FMP's and sequin dresses. When we go to TTR, definitely like dressing up. The husband likes shopping for me and buying great lingerie and dresses. I concur, do what makes you happy and comfortable. Good call on seeing the theme nights on TTR website. That is how we knew in our first time at TTR in advance for White Night and all of the other nights. It was great to have a heads up as to what to expect. Anyway, clearly, this is one of the best things about Cancun Care. You have a question? You'll get an answer of many variances, though some the same. Have a great trip-that is key.
Me....I just show up (does it really matter what Iwear?) My wife.......She loves to take the opportunity in the evenings to dress up and wear some sexy/provocitive outfits. Bob, I like your idea of going out and buying lingerie. For us....PattyO's is all about the women, and I guess us guys get to reap the benefit!
