We posted a trip report from our vacation in July 2010. During our thread the only obnoxious, rude comment we recieved regarding our report was from desire66, must be the "warped sense of humor". This is why the ignore button is available.

Is there a ignore button on here ? Would be handy , Ace remind me what was said ( or has it magically disappeared ? ) , I highly doubt it was bad. Some people are just to sensitive

We value your opinion, K and B, and everyone else's too.
Thanks for putting it out there!

In the end, the resorts are not apples and apples; they only share the "Temptations" name. The similarity ends there in our opinion.
We thought the TTR Cancun experience was like a frat house party and TTR Cabo was nice for a honeymoon couple. "Riu meets Dating game" was how we summed it up in our TTR Cabo report a couple years ago...

We never mince words about about the facility and our experience there. What's the point of a trip report if we smoothed it all over?
We appreciate candor, and we can't think of one couple we've met on this forum or at the resort that wasn't wonderfully positive regardless of their personal and honest take on the resort.

We love Cabo Desire takeovers and aren't huge TTR Cabo or Cancun fans--too quiet and lacking quality on one hand, and too much crazy party and numbers of people on the other--but we did win a free trip to Cabo TTR which we'll be taking in a month. :mnm:
We're planning on a quiet, romantic trip with lots of fishing; we'll see how it turns out.
We'll be sure to *continue* to share our thoughts and candor.

    Blimey!

So someone takes a trip to Cabo, enjoyed it but not quite as much as recent trips to Cancun, and they kindly reported back honestly on their experience. This is exactly what we should all want. It helps people make informed decisions as to what place might be the best fit for them. They are two very different resorts situated at opposite corners of Mexico and the only thing in common is the owners. We all want people to choose the most suitable place for their hard earned vacation and have the best time they can, don't we?

So, lets all be a little tolerant of other peoples views and experiences. I don't visit this section of the forum very often but when I do I've regularly seen snippy remarks about how Cabo is so much better than Cancun, and the people that go to Cancun don't know what they are missing. It seems when someone says something that doesn't fit that line they get criticised and it's suggested it was somehow their own fault.

That seems, to me, to be the case here.
