No better place to kick the feet up and rest hope for the best for you and your better half get well soon look forward to meeting you guys this year in April...
Super sorry to hear all that. From personal experience, don't mess around with the DVT. My first was 2000 as I have a not uncommon pro-thrombin blood factor called Leiden (factor 5). As young as you are you may want to check that. Normally coumandin, warfarin is prescribed as a blood thinner and you may need to have periodic checks of your pro-thrombin blood factor to make sure the dose is proper. Too much and you could have bleeding issues. Too little and more clots could happen. IF you are not factor 5 positive, you probably won't need coumadin. More info here... Never a dull moment, glad to hear Janet is doing fine and will be home and hopefully the two of you recover faster than predicted. I hear that this Canadian weather this time of year is good for the soul and help's speed up medical recoveries......just saying I heard it from a little bird. SO if you ever want to come stay at our place and let Jodie & I stay at yours for the next 8 weeks, we'd be glad to run the cruise and the board for ya. We just had our livers replaced at no charge with our heath care here a week ago and are perfectly healed already, so we're coming back down on Feb 24 to see if they work or not. Let us know (wink wink) Lenni & Jodie
Good luck to you with the DVT and I hope it stays away once you are able to work thru the clot issues. The break sounds ugly, although I don't expect it to keep Jannet down long. I hope everything goes well during your recoveries, and good luck with the little one while you are down.
