No problem drinking and driving. They even have drive up liquor stores around the island. What a great way to spend the afternoon. Be sure to drive all the way to the point. Tremendous views. Always windy.
I guess your biggest concern drinking and golf-carting would be if something happened to the cart, they have your licence! Never hired a cart because of that. I don't like the idea of handing it over. Would love to do the golf cart thing though if someone else would drive!
Yeah! I bet!!!! Maybe next time for us........ we were hoping for some crazy, adult, naked, fun. We will probably still check out Isla Mujeres.
Plus one on the golf carts! We did it on both of our trips to TTR. Get your cart and head to the right up the coast and look for the drive through beverage store. Then proceed around the island. The main road is a big loop. You will have time to make the loop twice with stops along the way . The turtles are cool, check them out. We also stop at the hotel Avalon for lunch. you have to drive the cart over the wooden bridge to get there. We also go for a dip while there too.
