if you just pay cover, not for open bar.. how much do drinks normally cost? martinis, beers, shots, etc? cuz i AM kind of a lightweight, so i was wondering if it'd be more cost effective..
Yeah during spring break they hit you with that "There is only OPEN BAR. I get frustrated and pissed off because we all know, that there is no such thing as open bar. They point to the tip jar, or act like they dont hear you unless you tip them. I personally pay cover when its availible, I really dont like drinking outside my hotel, so I am always aware of my surroundings. Im not impressed by, all those big clubs like the city, long lines to get a drink etc.. I would much rather go to lucky monkey, or congo bar. They play way better music and the drinks are much stronger.
Well if you been there 9 times i guess you would know.... Are most of the clubs like top songs or are they like techno?
NDelMoore- yeah congo, and lucky monkey are more free open atmosphere spots, which i prefer. I want to be able to move around and not be in a spot thats overly crowded. Holiday- @#$# changes from year to year, honestly I like the outside clubs, ie.. slices, congo, lucky monkey, and all those on the strip, because it seems to me they play more hot top jamz, most of the times in the clubs they play older @#$ witch im not feeling. The only thing you can do, is check out the club and if your feeling the music, your feeling the music. If not just bounce and head out to the strip too one of the outside clubs wich you can hear the music and see whats inside before you even enter. Most times theres no cover or they say, you have to buy atleast 1 drink to stay.
Ya pretty much it seams to be play it by ear.... 13 Days till I leave.. My first spring break and im going to make it a wild oneeeeeeeeeeeeeee
