Once again, we need to tap into the wealth of knowledge on this board!!!

The Booze Cruise on friday is through TTR...correct? Any thoughts on whether we should/need to pre-book?

We're also considering a trip to either Xcaret or Xel-Ha. Could anyone who has done either, or both share some thoughts?

We're inside a week to go and can hardly contain ourselves!!!

The Friday night Boose cruise is though the guys in the Towel Hut by the Sexy Pool and can be booked when you arrive at the resort with no problem.

As for the other two destinations.. I've done one but not the other so I'll let people that have gone to both answer for you. :D

We have gone to Xcaret twice and we really enjoy it there. It is an ECO park with tons of things to do, it has a nice beach, plenty of food options, swimming with the dolphins, and if you make it an all day trip there is an incredible show at night. Not sure what the price is now but i don't think you would be disappointed.

    trips

Will the resort setup the trips to eco park or are you on your own?
What do you miss at the resort if you go on the booze cruise?
Is the cruise for Temp guest only?

    Xel-Ha

Through research they say Xel-Ha is better. We will be done on May 16 and will be checking Xel-Ha out for the first time. We did go on one of the Zip-lining trips that we booked in the lobby. We loved it. Real Mayan food and had a traditional Mayan leader perform a ceremony in one of the underground caves and also went snorkeling in one of the fresh water cenote. Couldn't see much in the snorkeling, the neat part was that you floated naturally without a life jacket.
