Damn! I was just talking to some Essays I know, I told them to get the Balaclavas ready! LOL I am aiming to take at least $2500. I am all inclusive so I should be very comfortable. As I am going alone I am taking more than I need, I am hoping to take closer to 3000.

That's not nice. People who works down there have a lot less money than you do. They make their living from tips mostly. You can afford to have a couple less drinks.
Here was my plan on daily budget Budget (all figures in pesos homie) 130 riding the bus (heard its 65 pesos) 100 pre-drinkin "2 bottles of pacifico" 50 walmart frozen lunch 70 walmart frozen dinner 200 cover (find a cheaper cover!) 200 after drinking "4 bottles of pacifico" 100 misc pimped charges 850 pesos Thats almost less then 900 pesos! Which is like 90 bucks.. not bad !
I've gone for a full week the past 2 years. I didn't do any tours, drank like a fish, shopped a bit, tipped well... and spent about $500/week doing the all-inclusive thing. I can see how people would spend $700-$900/week though eating out more, shopping, and doing a few excursions.
