I also booked through expedia. I just called the resort directly after I paid in full for my trip and requested a quiet room and added an extra package on. We leave Thursday so I will let you know if it worked when I get back.
Funny usually we stay around Paty'os because I love it when Enriquis wakes me up. But last september we got bumped the first night and they put us in the Premier sections. All I did is get woken up by doors slamming in the wind all night. I prefer the music and people talking. I can sleep through almost anything except slamming doors. I also hated the stupid way we had to get up there.
That depends on how many days you are staying!!! after 8 days I need some sleep!!!!!! Or I get more wacky than I already am!!!!!!
We love a room by Patty 0's. We stayed in 2115 and request to be in that room 2114 or 2113. They are all on the first floor by Patty 0's and we do not hear anything when we go to bed - that that was usually when they shut things down. If we were in bed before the end of the music, then we weren't awake for very long! I am a big believer in naps to fulfill any missing sleep gaps during the day! ~Jill~
What's the trick to drinking all night (and all day) and avoid a hang over/crashing. Haven't figured this out yet...
Oh my...there are CCC members who are labouring under the delusion that they are going to get 8 hours of sleep per night?! Have you not been reading the boards? Normal life is completely out of the question at TTR (which is exactly why we go there). At home, I MUST HAVE 8 hours a night or I am tired, cranky and miserable. Somehow I get by on 4 hours every night for a week at TTR and it's no problem. ...that is...until I get home...when I need two weeks to recover! Having said that...I was in about the 2500 block last time (behind the Mexican restaurant, not far from the gym) and it was very quiet. Good idea to get a quiet room so you can at least get 4 hours sleep! (bring earplugs too)
I'll jump on the beds of people that get more than two hours sleep. Delicious jumps on my bed if I try to sleep period.
