I NEED SOME SERIOUS REASSURANCE........... As you may or may not know, me and 5 of my pals have booked to go Cancun on the 1st of april. Im reading some reviews and im not being filled with confidence that this time of year is all that great neither is it that busy or manic as march? Now i know you have all prob answered this before but i need reassuring BADLY im on a downer at the min haha. Thank you please
A few of my friends just got back from Cancun a few days ago…they said it was nuts the clubs were rammed and they met a ton of people from all over…I think no matter what time of year you go …you will always have a great time…..
cheers girl, i must say it is worrying me a little, i wanted to experience spring break but it looks as though im missing out.
Cancun was designed as an international resort for tourists all over the world – year round. Although peak SB weeks are in March, April is very busy. In fact you may find it a better time to go as the lines and wait times for entry into clubs, shops, and busses, etc., will be more manageable, but still rather active. BTW – You are also fortunate. By arriving April 1st, you will just about avoid what I'd regard as one of THE WORST times to be in Cancun … High school SB (week after Easter). Dodging 16 year old armatures puking in the Hotel elevators and lobbies is worse than having root canal work done on your teeth!!!!!
If you do a search on google theres a schedule of universities. Its mostly popin in March if you want get with the university crowd. Only a few universities still do their spring break during easter and april.
Basically i run nightclubs over here in the UK so easter bank holiday is a very bust time in the clubs so i have to be here, the best time that i could get close to the peak time was the 1st of april. I really wanted to go in march but i need to run the nights over here. Well hopefully it will be just as good and busy. As for the jailbait......i shall stay well away thats not my kind of thing, passport, driver licence or fully formed bush haaaahaaaa that last bit was a joke a bad one but never the less a joke sorry lol.
Frenzie... my first trip to Cancun was April 1-8, 2006 There were plenty of people there partying, and the clubs were still packed at night. Was it as crazy as peak week last year? no. But it was great nonetheless. Just go and enjoy it.
