I think Wilmington is the closest International airport, but maybe someone that lives close by would know better, or the best ways to get there. I think wilmington airport is like a 20 min drive to Topsail area.
Jacksonville and Wilmington are roughly 26-28 miles away.Just checked flights and they arent too bad for me.
not great for us...but living in Newfoundland Canada, most flights to the US are expensive and 2-3 stops. I'll keep watching for dates though and see....
ok guys we need to pick a date... need to know the cost and we need to know who's going to be in... Let's not let this go off the way side, I think its a fantastic idea I can't wait to see everyone again. Lets get this ball rolling....
Weird ??? checked flights from Edmonton flight to Jacksonville return for 2 $1190.00 tax included, flight into Wilmington would $4338.00.
Jacksonville is 2 miles closer too I agree. I like this idea. I think it would actually be better than Cancun And Monique..tell clenn there is a golf course 7 miles away.Im down for a round or two of golf
Yeah I say we take some time working this one out, Rob (diamondheaded) has said him and his wife would definately be in for this if we could get the april group down the New Orleans for the Make a wish fund raiser, I think he even laid the gountlet down by saying he would play some games of " April vs May group etc... I have faith in April group lol But yeah I think a private Island would replace the Cancun trip for me as long as we do it for 10 days ish or at least around there, So its an equivalent vacation. Its a great area with lots to do, and just bein able to relax and no security guard nazi's on our island like temptations is enough to make it relaxing right there.
I agree.I may be available for new orleans.My Vegas trip was originally a local group of friends and Im not sure if its gonna happen or not.I would love to meet Rob and T.Read many of their posts.I have a couple weeks of Vaca left so Im keeping everything open right now.Is this island reunion for this summer? Judging by looking at the dates the house is available it looks like August may be the best time to go.Looks like NC can get a bit chilly in the fall and spring months
