Oh No its Aunt Flo..

In order to delay it you have to take them for around 3 months. I am a RN and when I asked a MD at work to prescribe them for me so I could do this very same thing she told me it wouldnt likely work because I was too close to the trip. She prescribed it anyways cause I said I would like to at least try it. My period still came. Maybe a little lighter than usual but it was still there.

 

OK, don't laugh or think I am crazy. The same thing happened to me last month. My period was due on the first or second day we were to be on vacation. I had gone to the doctor and asked her to put me on the pill for the month....she wouldn't do it. She TOLD me to do this and it worked.....told me to will my period to come....to mentally tell myself every day (as many times a day that I thought about it) about 2 weeks before our trip. Just keep telling myself that it will start. She also told me to masterbate too. So, I am in, I did this....and it worked. Aunt Flo came the Saturday before our trip....5 days early.....I could not believe it! The mind is a very powerful thing....over our own bodies, which I already knew...but was SOOOO thankful that I made a real effort to do this... sounds so silly, but it worked for me!

we just rebooked for 2 weeks later-- cost us about $300-- wrote it off as bl**d-fees.

I didnt read all the anwsers so I'm not sure if anyone said this but you can go to your doctor and ask them to prescribe you Progesterone. Take that right before you are sopposed to get it and continue to take it until u get home.

 

Over here theres a tablet called norethisterone. You take 5 mg 3 times a day - it's a pain in the ass remembering to take it - but less of a pain in the ass having your period on vaca!!
We have to get a script for it over in the UK - but its easy enough to get. It is progesterone as the last replier said. Ive taken it before now and it works a treat. When you get home - stop taking it and aunt flo will come see you withing about 2 days!!
