oh my.. last year I had a pic taken with a monkey and never tought anything of it.. Either way.. It just goes to show how people need to be careful around animals, or in this case people need to be more responsible with their wild pets!!
As you can see in my pic there is a monkey between us, I guess it is just like a dog attacking you you never know, Hope she is doing okay, I really think people could keep their pets at home, you never know what might spook them into doing something crazy. Keep us posted on how she is. Terry
Jamie, I hope your Mom is okay...lips do tend to bleed a lot, so I'm hoping that's the case here and that it's not as bad as feared and that she doesn't have to go through a series of rabies shots in addition to the discomfort and pain she's already feeling... ...with that being said, I've always felt just a little bit sorry for the animals that are used to make money like this. It seems they are passed from person to person for hours on end and I'm not surprised that this has happened. My first thought was that your Mom was chewing gum and that's what the monkey was after...who knows what set it off, but it should be put down...once they attack, they should not be trusted near people again. I just hope that your Mom heals fast with no scars and thank God that it didn't go for her eyes. Hugs, Janice
