Keeping our fingers crossed that it will be open in time. Not big wine drinkers but my neighbor is a big shot with Jacuzzi winery and gets stuff not available for general sale. I'm sure I can grab a bottle or two.
Stacia & I met Marshe on the trip last week he mentioned, above. Well, actually we met both of them who make up Marshe, to be... precise. he promised to not let anybody hurt me since, after 18 other trips to BBG then TTR, this will be our first Halloween, thus first HNH group party opportunity. So, go easy on the newbies, OK? We're in Oct. 28 - Nov 2, so when is the proposed Wine Night on the calendar? if we'e there, Stacia will Certainly kick in a bottle, probably from Haak, I'd guess, that being our best local winery (that I know of anyway).
So where and when does all this wine tasting take place? We are also Halloween virgins at TTR. Got room for H&H newbies?
We hold the tasting night on Oct 28. We did it at PatyO's, but will have to find a new spot this year
Glad you guys had a nice trip! Are you able to give any hints as to what you heard from the vibe intentions, and how believable the source was? No biggie if not, only time will tell.
With the money they are investing, I'd bet the house they are trying to get rid of the "adult frat party" vibe, and get what they perceive as a more "upper crust" clientele.. I think they honestly believe they can price a lot of party people out, and they will if the prices are what they have put out so far.
I figured there was going to be some change and "cleanup", but hoped it wasn't going to change that much. Basically what we are used to might tone back a bit, but would still be there.
I think it is best to wait for official public/reveal from OR. My years in journalism school did teach me something: the rule of Off The Record. I will say we Talked with many folks with various knowledge and it seems the rumored conceptual change on Sept 25 at the Wrecking Balls Party, to our chagrin, has only intensified.
