Hiya, we got to see and talk to Norma when we did our little walk-through on the way out to get ont he Yacht. We asked about Damien and Norma told us that he's now working as an assistant to Mr. Diego (main TTR Owner), and she said he's loving it. Regular Hours for Damien. He'll be missed, that dude was ALL about customer service. Non-Premier folks just don't get it. To non-Premier peeps: Oops... not trying to start that mess. Apologies. We're not better than you, we just spent more money than you, so we get more "stuff" than you do, that's it. Like buying a front-row ticket vs. being in the nosebleed seats, just like that. Well, maybe not "just" like that, but similar. I'm making this worse... not better. LOL! My bad. We love our membership. For example, booking a a week trip to St. martin, fully-furnished 1-bedroom ocean front apartment for a week..... $348 (week rate). Nice, I think. It's not A.I. like being in Mexico, but the prices for food/drinking in/on St. Martin is generally less than here in Houston! Got a 2-bedroom/2-bath condo in Kihei, Maui for $450 for a week a year back-ish. Compared to getting a hotel, even on special, I saved ~$6,000 USD (Look at Sheraton Black Rock, in Lahaina). Pricey. We've made back almost half of our membership in savings, that's real money back in the pocket for going and doing just like we were going to be going & doing anyway, it just costs a crapton less now! Pay up front, reap bennies on the back. Smart play for us.
@Stacia_and_John ....just to add, We ended up seeing Damian 4 or 5 times in the 5 days we were there. Way more than we actually seen the 2 supposed butlers. Damian did waay more for us than they did, and he is not tecnically working for TTR anymore....But, He cut our bands off on the way out the door. I tipped him for all that he did for us over the first few days of re-opening. He is simply amazing at that job and will never truly be replaced. BTW....he is working for Roberto as his personal butler.
