We too have been contacted several times in regards to selling our weeks. Guess too many have told them to go "F" themselves they have started a new tactic. The latest we got was they'd sell off 10 weeks at almost 4 times what we paid for our contract. Of course the usual bells and whistles have gone off, we said thanks but no thanks as well. Not sure how they were able to get the home phone number as we didn't give that info when we bought. But we will certainly call the premier services and let them know we aren't happy about this.
It is definite that our personal information has been compromised... either sold by Premier just to make a $ (like to think that isn't so) or they have had their systems hacked. I have probably fielded 30 + calls in the past few months, both at home and at work, from various companies that had WAY TOO MUCH personal info (including our upgrade last Nov.). Most of the calls are repeats from the same 2 or 3 companies. Slowing down now though I just tell them we use our membership 5-6 times a year (lie on my part) and have saved at least twice what we paid (another lie) so if they want to buy our membership their offer better be very good and they can send it to my lawyer. Their response is pretty much the same " Oh you actively use it and are happy with it. Thanks for your time Mr. xxxx" Telling them to remove us from their call list doesn't do squat btw. As for the info they have on us...not really anything anyone can do about it
Woke up to another jackass this morning callin to 'buy your vacation property in Mexico' I think he learned some new vocabulary by time I hung up.
We no more than got back from TTR in October and got an e-mail from someone who wanted us to go to other resorts for a small price. It said because you just returned from TTR we may like these places. I forwarded the e-mail to Premier office and got a response that it was another scam. Some how they know when we go. I do our reservations on line through the Premier web site so not sure how they get our info. Then it was followed up with phone calls for the last few days on buying our membership... wow wish this would stop.
Got back from Cancun Nov 8th, & had 2 calls on my answering machine. Just upgraded from silver 2 gold for only $20 more, & a free week in TTR, & weekend in Desire. But after getting eaten up bugs in Desire last week- that's not going 2 happen. Thanks 4 the good advice I can say when they call me back. I love the Fuck You part.
seeme the bothersome solicitation has started again. Got another idiot phonecall this morning after going almost 2 months without. was beginning to think it had permanently stopped. But guess I was wrong Anybody else still getting unwanted cold calls?
I have not gotten any for a very long time. I was getting calls from Florida recently, but ignored and they never left a voice mail, guess it could have been them.
