Offer to buy My Premier Membership

It is really getting out of hand now.
Been contacted by 2 more outfits in the last 5 days.
They are using all avenues of communication.
Original seems to have a gusher of a hackjob on their hands

I still don't get why people purchase memberships in the first place!

 

IT IS A SCAM!!! Be very defensive about this! If u feel it isn't,check with original resorts. They will help u out! Do not give any personal info! And of course don't give that company a dime!!!

 

Been solicited twice more this week, once last week.
All told we have been contacted 14 times now and they all have a different spiel

Very interesting case here.

First, the resort harasses you until you buy into their Premium Plan. Regardless how many times you visit and how many times you say NO

This Plan or Package, you say it increases your value, it adds to your vacation, sort of an elite guest, a club member with special bonus options not available to non members.

I see.

Next a company with whom you've never dealt with or ever heard of solicits you for your Special Plan. In addition to that, they have information that you only shared with the company that offered you the Special Package.

Hell yeah, might be done insider leaking information....the same way your ATM card get charge multiple times when you use it in TTR premises. I guess some one is getting paid really less lol

 

Exactly! My partner, Dick Tation and I brainstormed what little information we have here in this thread and determined its unlikely the resort or its parent company are to blame. Although it is disappointing they are slow to return your calls or address your concerns.

More likely a low paid employee with a friend or relative, some 3rd party traded private information. If it was hacking, why wouldn't other areas of your personal life be affected? I believe we are on the right track.

so now I get it, I had gotten a couple of calls and messages within the last couple of months looking to buy my membership as well...I don't do well with people calling me out of the blue so I interrogate immediately to find out who and why..takes about a minute or two..so the convo went like this...

you're calling from my home resort offering to buy my remaining time...

F You, that's my playground.

silence and a dial tone
