I understand. We all are bummed about it. Kyle has worked VERY hard for a long time to get a reduced rate. Unfortunately, TTR has not budged. We have discussed other options (bringing our own alcohol, having it in a room, having it at nice shoes/sports bar) and this is the one that the majority voted in.
A few if us have tried contacting them and haven't heard back from them I've messaged her on Facebook and through text but nothing. So I'm not even sure if they are still going
Sorry Jenn but I think u r directing your frustration in the wrong place. We discussed it on here weeks ago. People debated $20 vs getting our own stuff vs a room vs a public area. We told everyone we were going to discuss it further on a private yahoo group. I invited you first to join and test it out. Then I invited you when the official invites went out. Then I followed up w just you when you didn't respond to either. 30 or so couples have been discussing the toy exchange on the group and not a single one said they would not do it because of the $20. Believe me we r not happy about it but with 30 couples u can't do a room. No one wanted to do it in a main area with randoms walking in. The resort agreed to 3 hours and to providing a guard and that clinched it. End result is we did this as diplomatically as we could and that is where we landed. If u get on the group u will see.
Kyle it's fine. I am a little frustrated but I'll get over it. With this new job I have been unable to get on the forum as much. We've both been so busy so I apologize. I hate that we will miss all the fun but to have to pay for the Boobs Cruise, 20 per person to get in to the toy exchange and purchase a toy, it's just more than we wanted to pay. I'm sorry for being so rude about it I was just upset and I'm sorry about that. You know me and that's rare for me to explode like that. We will just have some fun in our room or just party extra hard at patyos. I hope that you can forgive my rudeness
LT & Jen, I totally understand your frustration. Between work, kids, life in general, we all have other things to attend to other than being on the forum here, fun as the forum is. I agree with you about the $20 p/p, but to us, we decided to just go with it because it will be a fun event. Kyle, thanks for all the effort you've put into the whole thing. Sometimes things do need to be organized. A lot of us, myself included, would just like the fun to happen spontaneously. But some events, such as the toy exchange, turn out a bit better if someone steps up to the plate and does the preparation to get it all organized. Kyle's done a great job in this regard. But this shouldn't be a issue that creates any heartburn for anyone. We're all going to have a great time and party down. Of course we can't all agree on anything; but let's all agree on this- we're all going as friends and we'll all have a great time! Less than 2 weeks til the party starts!!
If you want, we can buy a toy for you, wrap it up and bring it with us, so you can enjoy the toy party. You can just pay us back at the resort. We don't mind at all.

Question.....my understanding of parties in the cigar lounge is thAt the same rules apply as in other areas of the resort, and security still monitors closely. Am I wrong? How crazy will they allow this party to get?
