Kyle, have you ever Considered changing your career to being a travel agent/party planner extraordinaire? It might suit you.
Hello fellow Octoberbreasters, It sure is hard getting back into the swing of things. Temperature is only about 50F (10C). Would definitely prefer to be back at TTR in the Sexy Pool. Hope everyone is doing well!
It is sitting around 85 today here in Texas. I sure would not want to deal with all these cold temps I am hearing about. Especially from our Canadian friends.
You wouldn't....I don't and I've lived here all my life. It was right around freezing this morning. I had to scrape the frost off the car before work I'm ready for my next vacation and we haven't been home for 2 weeks. I'm ready to book for 2015. Nikki
That's why we have the perfect weather. The summer time highs are around 100 with single digit humidity and the winters are pretty mild. Highs in the 50's and 60's with lows in 30's and 40's. We will usually get 1 or 2 light snows here each winter, just enought to make everything pretty and then it's gone the next day. And Redding is the second sunniest city in the U.S., statistically speaking. Unfortunately it is part of California and all that comes with it. We are trying really hard here in NorCal and southern Oregon to break away and create the State of Jefferson, the 51st state.
We are originally from the Bay Area and I understand what you are saying. My dad always uses the weather there as his selling point for us to move back. But the cost of living in Silicon Valley versus here in Fort Worth is our biggest reason not to go back.
