If u do then every time u see them u casually mention how u r on a strict budget for 2015 since u bought a new house and got tricked into buying a timeshare. U won't be able to go anywhere else as a result. I know u were not tricked but they don't know that. Don't add it in the context of the wedding conversation. Just in passing. Then if they say/ask well u can make the wedding right? U say of course we can, we wouldn't miss it for the world. But it will register that it is tough for u and a sacrifice. Then when everyone else complains about the destination wedding (it will happen) and they assess whether it is really worth it they will consider your hardship and cancel it

Or if u do not like her then invite her to dinner and accidentally bring some hot single guy friends Repeat until she decides she isn't ready to get married yet

 

LMAO. .. you make some very good points. We are hoping they abandon this idea. They are a little hoity toity and I'm thinking that their idea of a beach vacation and our idea of a beach vacation are NOT the same thing. Plus, we would be vacationing with Trav's parents? Oh geez.

Trav thinks we should complain a little and start to push them in the right direction of a beautiful Chicago wedding! Who doesn't love Chicago? !?!

However, I will keep your idea of taking her to dinner with single male friends on the back burner. ;-)

 

Amy, I feel your pain. Destination weddings are a PITA! I'm also rooting for a Chicago wedding. [emoji4]

 

We are already looking forward to next years trip ourselves. We have been talking about it and are strongly considering doing the split trip for next year.

I do not mean to try and shock you guys, but Melissa really likes the idea of going to a full nude place! Plus we figure if a few more of us go over, then its the same as staying all week at TTR, since we go for the people more than the resort.

 

Are you thinking pearl? Or another place. I'm cool with nude. I regretted not doing it on the Boobs Cruise.

It will be Pearl or RM at least for 2-3 nights.

 

Cheaptickets.com has one of their 20% off specials this week. And they just extended the use from up until the end of march stays to the end of June stays. The code is 'fallfun'. So for those of u thinking about trying pearl in feb, May or June then this is a good time to buy. Plus they have the buy 3 get the 4th free deal. So I think for week 8 I was able to get it down to $435 a night over the 4 nights. For may I was able to get it to $365 a night. Not too shabby.

Thought I would share as several pm'ed me asking to post when I saw the deal back. We are hoping to go back may 9th week.

I'm at a bayfront resort in San Diego for work this week and the contrast to the octoberbreast party is just brutal. I'm chillin nekkid on my balcony listening to the rippling waves... and nothing else. Don't get me wrong, it's nice. But I just keep scanning the resort for the for the sexy pool and all I see are conservatively dressed conferencees and their kids!
