We take our kids to school this weekend and of course I have the week off so I told them they can't come out back.. not that my son ever leaves the gaming room! So hopefully I can get rid of some tan lines also! Although I might have to follow in Melissa's shoes and hit the tanning bed. I am as pasty white as they come right now.

I agree, we normally don't leave the resort except for the cruise. Kyle is welcome to have his penthouse party but we'll stick with doing the toy exchange at TTR before he heads over to Pearl.

 

Ok, I'm back to work now, finished with all the scary hospital tests. My mind is now on Mexico. It gets me though

Yeah was kind of doing my 'pie in the sky' dreaming that I tend to do. I emailed the resort front desk manager who I have gotten to know and asked if there are any limits on how many people I could invite over (I expect there to be) and also if I could get a volume discount lol (like pay for 3 couples get the 4th free, ha). I don't expect it to work but Pearl consistently surprises me with their willingness to please (the opposite of TTR in situations like this) so who knows.

As for the transportation, if it got to the point where people were interested in visiting for a party, to try out the resort, etc. AND the resort doesn't have a limit on numbers then I would connect with Trina (works with Steve on here) to obtain transportation, maybe a van or bus. She has helped people before travel between the 2 resorts for cruises and can get the best rate.

Others have PM'ed asking about an evening cruise with Steve for the toy exchange night. Steve and I chatted and the catamaran isn't exactly the safest option in the dark (small rope around the edge, can't see if someone falls over) and the cost of course would be higher. So kind of crossed that option off. Don't want to lose Darin at sea (hmmm, or do we? jk)

 

Keep working those options Kyle. You can't lose me that easily. I have a feeling that after the Boobs Cruise this toy party is looking at being pretty fun with this crowd.

 

We hope all the tests are done and come back good. We are glad to have you back monitoring us and keeping us in check.

 

And we leave on the 8th so we won't be making the trip to Pearl. Kinda crazy what TTR is asking for the party. If 100 people show up that's $2000 that the resort is making on it. Per couple it's not a huge expense, but put it in perspective of what the resort will profit is ridiculous. Either way, we are still in.
