I have a sure fire hangover preventative but that wouldn't have done you any good yesterday. Still, for future reference, and this ultimately came from a college chemistry professor, large glass of water (hydration), tablespoon of honey (sugar), and 4 aspirin (helps blood flow). Now the trick is to not be so drunk that you forget, pass out, or just can't manage it. I can tell you from experience, choking down the honey is the hardest part.

I'm going to try electrolyte tabs between now and TTR and see if they work.
