    I don't think any of the group would vote for two cruises and splitting up. Could a date be added if the demand was there? I am sure many would sign up for both if a 2nd cruise was offered. I am not sure if my liver would allow it, but I would give it the old college try.

    Travis could not survive two cruises. Lol Amy would kill him if he pulled his drinking record twice in a week.

    I'm thinking the same thing. The thought of splitting up the group makes me sad. We also have to assume that some of the 40+ couples might not be a fan of boats. I believe that it will work out :)

    Yeah, this is a pretty close knit group so I don't really want to split it. I just hate people missing out too.

    I guess though what I'll likely do is run one the 5th and those that want it the most will sign up quickly. Then maybe have an 'overspill' cruise on maybe the 7th or 8th for example for anyone who wants a second bite and those that didnt sign up quick enough for the 5th.

    I would just like to post a message to all my Octoberbreasters - we had a rough day here in Illinois. Travis was 'showboating' on the diving board at the pool today, and ended up completely tearing his patella tendon. His left leg is immobile and he cannot move. We are meeting with the surgeon this week to get a surgery scheduled. I hope that Travis will make a full recovery by October. We did not buy the trip insurance and we absolutely cannot miss the trip this year. So, please say a little prayer for my hubby tonight for a swift recovery.

    On a sidenote, Travis has officially retired from the Belly Flop competition effective today. We will need a new nominee to compete, for sure. :)

    That's terrible news, Amy! Our thoughts are definitely with the both of you and hope for a speedy recovery for Travis! Every great party has at least one gimp though so if he is still hobbling around in October, there will be a role for him...lol. Regarding the belly flop contest, I am out, but I am sure someone will step up to make Octoberbreasters proud.
