For us it's a slow build. Booking reservations and getting our airline tickets (which we will do soon) and knowing we've got kid coverage (which we will do soon) is the first bit of excitement. I think my favorite feeling is when we're sitting at the gate to depart because we just spent the morning getting the kids ready for school and out the door, getting to the airport and getting through security and finding our gate. All of this done by 9:30 or 10:00 on Friday morning. That's when we look at each other and say, "Now we're on vacation." And then knowing we should be in the pool with a drink within four hours. This year we're really looking forward to getting to the pool, getting that first drink, and seeing all of y'all. In the past, we had friends that we knew would be there, but it's not like we kept up with them throughout the year. Plus, they're a little more mellow than this group.
My favorite feeling is checking in. I will stand there, using my high voice, bouncing up and down, clapping my hands, chanting "I can't wait! I can't wait!" Travis finds this only mildly annoying, surprisingly!
My favorite things are all the sexy fun we have at the sexy pool during the day and at Paty O's at night. And I love how all that fun translates back in the room . I also love the Boobs Cruise and the feeling you get when you pull up to the resort and are checking in! April
My favorite TTR feeling... It usually occurs at some point right in the middle of the party. Sometimes once a trip, sometimes many. A song comes on that I love. I look around and see my wife and friends partying like there isn't a concern in the world. I then step back, stand up somewhere high, stretch my arms up to the sky and look down on all the fun. A sense of euphoria overcomes me. So happy, so relaxed, so at peace and so excited for what will come next as the party continues. Just an amazing feeling. Life is good.
Sorry. I get a little wordy when I am in a really good mood. Had one of the best weekends of my life, going to the beach with family this weekend including a night out to dance to EDM and a night out to see Lionel Richie (we are diverse people), 1 month away from our Ireland trip and we are getting close to the two month mark for the big Octoberbreast trip. Oops, there i go again. Life is good.
