If you are going to split it up then going to Desire second is the best move to relax.
We have some friends that are big Desire fans. They have always told me that the crowd at Desire RM is more lively than at Pearl. We have not been so we are also waiting for Kyle to get his report finished.

 

Arrangements, viewings, ceremony all done. Just the cemetery stuff mid week left. Thank you all for the kind words and support. Sorry about the delays. I plan to write the next chapter tonight but I will spoil some now... we are only going back to TTR because of the amazing people going in October. We will likely do 3 or 4 days at ttr followed by 4 nights at Pearl (especially since they have the buy 3 get 1 free deal going on now). As a result we were able to get pearl down to $333 a night in October on cheaptickets, way less than the normal rate. We were able to make it so Pearl was a great party too the last 3 nights of our may trip (will explain in the report). Add the far superior rooms, food, beach, disco, music and hot tub and the extra money is worth it in our opinion. So we will party hard with Octoberbreast at trr then party in luxury at pearl while being spoiled recovering during the day.

April and I are very sorry for your family's loss. You and Jen have been in our thoughts.

Your latest Pearl trip report update certainly seems to be more up April and I's alley, although, we would have been very disappointed in the days leading up to this great night. Having seen first hand how hard you work to put a party together and to include as many people as possible in the fun, I am left wondering if that night at Pearl would have been near as fun without you going above and beyond to make sure it was. What are your thoughts on that? I like the sound of the more intimate setting, but I believe April and I would eventually get bored with it if the party didn't heat up. I guess the moral of the story is that you should be prepared to start your own party if all else fails or only book your trip to Pearl when Jen & Kyle will be there.

Thanks Brent. You are too kind. Re the question on the reason Pearl picked up it is difficult for me to answer. I think my expectations of the level of party are always very high. So I am a tough critic and others might think it was a good party all week. But with that disclaimer, although the penthouse party was definitely a factor, just as big a factor were new arrivals. People were more into the party from Wednesday on and more into socializing with others. I think with the Penthouse parties and freedom to do what you want and people embracing the party it was actually better than TTR at night. Day just doesn't compare. So with Pearl or TTR the people there really make the difference. I don't think you would be bored at Pearl but there is definitely a higher risk and a higher reward. I think you are almost guaranteed to find what you want party wise at TTR but for example I remember the day you decided you just didn't want to wear shorts and security was all over you. So at Pearl the party can escalate but it isn't as likely to get to that point but when it does watch out!

 

Thanks for sharing, Kyle. Just to clarify, I typically don't just go shortless on a strong Desire to do so. I was just trying to get one of the ladies who was not comfortable going topless yet to join the party. She said if I took my bottoms off then she would take her top off. I did and she did. So you see, it was all for the greater good of the party.

I also appreciate you touching on the nudity part of Pearl in your report. That is one aspect of Pearl that April and I didn't really know if we would like. The way you described it makes it seem very similar to the anxiety we had coming to TTR for the first time. Once the top came off, it was hard to get back on. Not that I tried very hard to get it back on. I can imagine that we would feel the same way midway through a first day at Pearl.

Yeah, you know me, I wasn't even comfortable being naked on the Boobs Cruise. I think I was more comfortable at Pearl as it just didn't seem to matter to anyone. Where on the Boobs Cruise my shorts were being yanked off lol (I secretly liked it though lol). But I honestly believe if I stayed clothed the entire time it wouldn't of mattered. Some do.

 

Lookout Kyle, I never planned on having that fun session with Brent but it is the boobs cruise after all. Next one it could be you and Travis showing your crazy side out there!

 

Wow, it just dawned on me that this thread has been running for over a year now. We all missed the anniversary on May 10th.

There is no way it could have lasted without some of the best people in the whole world being involved. I can't wait to see how active it is going to get this summer on here.

I think we are due for an Amy question to spur some interest from old and new Octoberbreasters!
