At 50 we are still bundled up not even thinking of sitting on the deck. But, I guess when we are sitting outside when it is 85 thinking this is perfect, you would be burning up. - Melissa
Nope, I would LOVE 85 degrees! When you are bundled up in coats, touques, scarves, and mittens for 5 months 50F seems like a balmy dream. Our snow is just starting to melt now. Hopefully it will be mostly gone in a week or so.
I seen that too. Here is the link to the rest of the Oktoberfest 'Resort Run' events. Calendar | Temptation Oktoberfest They also have a get your 4th night free promo but the alpharooms deal that was out earlier still appears to be a better deal.
booked flight I got an email from southwest airlines for an offer i just could not refuse. It really is crazy good. So in September southwest is starting service to Cancun. So I looked up the price expecting it be a little cheaper than our usual price which is typically a little over $700 each (ouch in the spring) and $450 each in October (by the way it is still showing for $700 each on us air for oct but that usually doesn't change until May/June). And shockingly the price is $325 each round trip! Holly Cow. Only catch is we can only fly home on Saturdays. So I booked the arrival flight portion for $150 each for an October 3rd arrival at 10:50am. And will find a return flight later on Us air likely for the 10th. So we are officially booked for an October 3rd arrival. just not sure when we are departing. Maybe I will 'accidentally' forget to book the return home portion of the flight and we will be stuck.
I am not usually on much right now, because unlike my husband, I actually do the work I am paid to do (love you honey). I had a hard time finding the thread because it was all the way at the bottom of the page, so I thought I would post to help move it up. - Melissa
Wow, that is a great price. We usually pay around $475 each in October on American. Nobody else goes direct there on our dates so we can't shop around.
The wife and I are looking forward to our 2nd TTR trip from Sept 25 through Oct 6th after a great trip April 5-11. Gary & Twyla
