The only site we go by for weather is our own eyesight. You can't trust the accuracy of any of the forecasters. Better to just open up your blinds each morning and see for yourself.

We are planning on bringing down some gummies to make shots with. They are easy though you just put then in a bowl and fill with flavored vodka then stick them in the fridge for a couple of days.

 

Or you could use a weather rock, you know, put a rock on the balcony, if it's wet it's raining, if it's casting a shadow it's sunny, if it's gone it's really windy, if it's covered in white splatters look out for seagulls

 

Come on people, i am stuck in jury duty and currently waiting for the judge to finish several other cases before ours. Keep this tgread moving so I have something to do.

I think we're pretty much ready to go now. Last night was haircuts, I always enjoy the pre-trip haircut, always makes it seem official. Just need to pick up a handful of travel size toiletries and we're good to go. It'll be interesting packing this time as we have more theme night outfits and 5 cans of AIWC to stuff in along with cups for Paty'o's on top of our pool mugs lol I'll take less "regular" clothes I guess. Even then I'll end up with half a dozen things I won't end up wearing I'm sure, usually it's something that requires ironing if I'm to wear it and it never seems worth the effort to do that right before supper or Paty'o's. Note to self, leave items that require ironing at home

We went in January and there was 2 whole days of overcast & rain and it got cold too with the wind, we didn't hang out at the pool one whole day but it was still a lot of fun Got sunny halfway through the second day and as soon as it peeked out the naked twister come out and people were in the pool

 

I am going to respectfully disagree on this one. Sure it is still a blast but the party is always turned up a notch when the weather cooperates. And some of us really enjoy lounging in the sun which is hard to do when it rains.

What I have noticed with these weather forecasts is they change daily. It is tough to predict with all the tropical activity. I find accuweather to be very accurate but they just changed from sat 5th and 6th being gorgeous to not being nice at all. The beauty at this point is that could very easily change tomorrow.

For the next week they have sun with chance of showers which basically means it will be a good day. Maybe a short shower, maybe not. The days you have to worry about are the ones that say Rain like oct 5th but again I bet that prediction will change back and forth several times between now and then as yesterday it said sunny. I find their forecast 1 or 2 days out though is accurate. I expect the next couple days to be beautiful with a small chance of shower and hopefully the oct 4th weekend turns to that as well.
