The new one has a lot of material but is semi sheer. The one we have from April is one size fits all and is actually too big so Jen was considered having it hemmed. And option 3 is short white shorts with a blouse so we have options so there won't be a match. But it would be funny if 3 people show up in the same outfit from yandy. Still everyone is a winner as their dresses are hot.

Since we have seen threads that say the foam stains some clothing, we just spent $15 on the clearance page. If it stains then we don't mind a $15.00 throw away dress.

We saw a vid on youtube and the foam party didn't look all that great.... Just some bubbles on the floor.... Hopefully that was a bad night lol

I feel like Tom Cruise in "Risky Business" when he's watching the clock tick in his class. Tick Tock, Tick Tock, then it goes backward by one second and he freaks out. :sauer005:

At least my clock isn't going backwards, but I am certainly watching it tick as I count down the seconds at work, waiting to get to Cancun next week!

Google Chrome

When you open a new window in "Google Chrome", it shows you the 8 websites that you've frequented the most. Is it bad that CCC has made it to the top of my list...especially since this is my work computer? Our trip is so close that I'm just having a hard time focusing...

Good call on the unique shirt/towel - worked well for us last year. We were always happy to see our gaudy beach towels through tired, blurry eyes when we arrived at the breakfast buffet. Not a good system, but better to work within it than to see how agitated people get when "policy" is violated!

Our towels are multi-coloured with a big sandle (I think you guys call them thongs (Totally different meaning over here for thongs!!)) on each.... Easy enough to spot so u can hunt us down! ha!

So now that we are getting close some things we forgot or learned last trip that I wrote down to be sure I didn't forget this trip. A lot has been said before but good reminders for octoberbreasters.

Double the suntan lotion you normally bring. We usually bring 1 30, 1 15 and a small face 50+. We ran out of the 30 and 50 and had to buy another across the street at $30!!!

You can bring 1 liter of alcohol each into the country. For us it was actually cheaper in the philly airport than the cancun airport. So buy a liter each of your favorite alcohol and carry it on. If you get it in advance then obviously you have to pack it as you can't bring it thru security.

Lip balm. Like in any tropical destination good to have.

Dryer sheets. Gets rid of that musty smell in the room. With all the rain they got the last couple weeks might be extra useful.

Whatever you use for hangovers/to keep hydrated. I get pediolyte dry packs. Mix it with the bottled water before bed and maybe an aspirin and usually I don't have a horrible hangover the next day and can do it all over again.

Guys, pants for dinner, how strict they are seems to come and go but typically the rule for Italian and Asian is must wear pants (slacks, kackys or jeans). Why risk it. I have seen some get by with shorts and others not. Plus with the ladies dressing up why can't we?

Tip money. It is a pain to get change down there in usd and all staff is fine with usd. We bring 100 1's, 100 5's, 100 10's, and $55 for USA transfer payment and the exact amount for the cruise (can't remember that amount off the top of my head) then we has tip on top from the tip fund.

Print off the October roll call. Always helpful to have a screen name and pic with you for those days where you see someone who looks familiar but you are not sure. Gives you that confidence to go up and say hey are you Jen&kyle from CCC? Lets do a shot!

Don't eat the salad or any fruit that get washed

For the new people say no to the tour of the hotel, its a long 3 hour time share push, they will try hard to get you to go.
