We had a different kind of "first day" last year. We actually almost went home. Lame I know. I got sick on the way down, our rooms got changed 4 times, and it was pouring the rain, so we called our travel agent and she told us to stick out one day which is what we did. So we went to the sexy pool, ended up meeting a ton of people and had a great day! So we decided to stay And I'm so glad we did, because if we had gone home, we wouldn't have made the friendships that we made, and we probably wouldn't be counting down the days until we meet all of you guys

 

Now that I read it again, it is quite funny. You're right, the initial view makes that happen doesn't it.

 

You are going to love meeting us! We are all soooooooo fun that your life will never be the same again.

First nighters should be required to have a room overlooking Paty O's. That way they won't be able to fall asleep early. They could move to a quieter room after night 1! LOL

Yes, we are very excited. Several of us have been going on with this since early May. We even got to meet Brent when he came out to Dallas for business. We held up the tradition and took hom to Hooters for dinner and beer. Seeing everyone else is going to be really fun too.

No way, we need our sleep and don't know how anyone handles those rooms.

 

We slept well last year except for one night when some drunk pounded on our door and yelled let me in. I just yelled wrong room and he went away.
