Oh, he is more fun in person, for sure. He is worried that the AIWC will explode in our luggage. You see, there was this incident last year where I insisted on bringing a 6pack of Mountain Dew (as Mountain Dew for me is IMPERATIVE to get over a hangover, and I wasn't sure if TTR had it or not. And, if they didn't, it would be catastrophic.) So, I bundled it in multiple ziplock bags and packed it along for the ride. Of course, 3 of the cans exploded, which made the aluminum puncture the plastic... which led to yellow stains on some of my TTR-wear. Sexy for sure. He doesn't want a repeat of that event only with creamy white stains instead. For those of you addicted to Mountain Dew, TTR *does* have it at the gift shop. Just another PSA from Illinois!!
Okay, that would suck for us if your outfits got stained and we didn't get to see them on you. I highly doubt any Octoberbreaster is going to bring the party down anyway.
That would suck! I'd be so pissed off to start the holiday with stained clothes already, then again I (Andrew) may be a little OCD in that department to begin with. I don't think you have to worry about AIWC as the cans are built to withstand a lot more pressure than a pop (soda) can. Plus the amount of people that bring them I'm sure would've warned others of exploding cans by now.
Add a couple more Texans to the group. After nearly a month of trying to lock down someone to watch our kids we finally made it happen. Booked today for the 4-9, had to give a little on the dates but at this point I don't care (that will happen on the 8th). Looking forward to joining in on the fun and the discussions.
Gotta love the sheer number of Texans who will be there. Looking forward to meeting you guys (notice I did not say Y'all, we are transplanted Californians but don't tell anyone). - Melissa
I would strongly recommend putting the AIWC in ziplock bags. We had one can leak pretty badly during the flight down in January but all it did was fill the zippy so no ruined clothes. 45 Days!!
