Kyle - LOVE your selections! Jen will look smokin' hot! Looks like you lucked out with the 50% off sale. I have been too busy to even look. Plus, Trav has got me on a credit card hiatus... never a good thing, lol! Matt&Mar -you guys have never been to TTR before?? My advice would be to pack some evening wear that would be normally within your 'comfort zone' and pack some outfits that you think, "Fuck no, I would *never* wear that in public!" See where the trip takes you. No matter what you actually end up wearing, you will fit right in. As Kyle said, the outfits that we have posted are definitely the exception - not really the 'norm'... unless you're talking about Lingerie night. Regardless, no one knows you - and no one gives a shit! No matter what, you will have the vacation of a lifetime - especially with this crazy crew!
Oh, and *love* the selection by the way! From the pictures, Mar, you look like you could rock that dress!!
Octoberbreast is going to get her to wear less than ever before! Woop woop!!! It's a slippery slope at TTR, I tell you what!
It's true, Ali's showing me dresses online she likes that she'd never have thought of wearing before. I'm thrilled, TTR really allows people, women especially it seems, to let go of their insecurities and have a fantastic time.
Yeah. I hear you. Sheer night was a tough sell. The initial response was how about if I agree to wear the little black dress you love? And my response was you already agreed to that and that is a different theme night I then showed her some of my favorite sheer options from wicked Temptations which included some where basically full underwear was worn underneath. This didn't actually help the cause initially though as some of those were still pretty outrageous. Hey, what can I say, I am a guy. But then I shared that if there was one night that I thought would be the sexiest night to participate in then it would be sheer night. So then she agreed as long as she can pick the outfit so we are in! I may bring a backup 'surprise' outfit just in case. As what usually happens is she tests her own comfort level but then wishes she went further. This time I will be prepared! Ha. We already have white, red and black night covered but will likely skip shades of grey. Hoping that will be a night out on the town night.
Very nice pick - hot!!!! Wicked has a great selection for us girls... but the guys have input. I love it when I hear some guy has done some shopping for his other half. When the 50 shades theme came up boy did I do some shopping at Wicked - Hubby loved what I got - you all will see when we are down there.. and I did get it from Wicked!
For the most part Calgary is a pretty redneck bible thumping kind of city (although it is changing quite rapidly) so we do run across some raised eyebrows when we talk of our trips. Luckily we both figure that if people don't like where we go they shouldn't have asked and pushing conservative buttons can be quite humorous
