I'm very fortunate that I don't get hangovers. It drives Melissa crazy. But truthfully, we both go hard all day in the pool then don't have much at night. Melissa will rarely have anything but water at Patyo's. Then she starts again at breakfast with mimosas

 

The best hangover prevention I've found (outside of not drinking) is to use Pedialyte powder packs. The makers of Pedialyte have finally figured out adults are using these for hangover prevention and have started marketing them as such.

Typically if I've had a heavy night of drinking, I'll drink Pedialyte and pop a few Advils and I'm good to go the next day. For day drinking (especially being out in the sun) I'd encourage drinking one at some point during the day and possibly another at night. Give it a shot, it works.

WARNING: UNPOPULAR OPINION AHEAD

Last year, we went to the gym for some quick cardio sessions just about every morning. Obviously forcing yourself to do it completely sucks, but it worked miracles on a number of occasions. Bring a bottle of water to drink while you're doing it, and you've suddenly sweated out all of last night's toxins, got your blood pumping, stretched out the kinks and rehydrated all in the span of 20 or 30 minutes. Makes the rest of the day 100 times better.

 

I looked for the pedialyte packs in Canada and we don't have them here. I have no idea but the only thing they have here are like electrolyte freeze's.
