Temptations Fist Timers We just booked our first trip to TTR October 8-12 and are looking forward to a great time. We were looking for a fun and relaxing way to celebrate our 5 year anniversary!
You will definitely have fun, but I don't know about relaxing. We always plan our trip to get home Friday so we have two recovery days before work.
I can say 100% for sure it will be fun, but as for relaxing....hmm maybe not so much lol. But the good news is you'll be having so much fun you'll be happy to relax when you get home :wink3:
C'mon, can I get an Amen? Yeah, preach the truth brother! // Don't plan anything of importance after your first trip to TTR other than booking your second trip.
Thank for the advice everyone. Looks like we should plan to take Monday off to decompress. We were thinking about taking a day trip to Chichen Itza, has anyone ever been there? Is it worth the trip? The round trip is 11 hours and we don't want to loose an entire day. Thoughts?
Just my opinion, but you arrive on Wednesday and depart on Sunday. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights are the absolute best at Paty-O's! If it were me, I'd save Chichen Itza for a longer trip. Perhaps explore Isla Mujeres on a golf cart Saturday? That way you don't have to limit your Friday night fun. You can head to the Embarcadero and catch the ferry whenever you wake up! If you have never been to Isla, it is a lot of fun. Joe
we would agree with J N L... your length of stay may be a problem with a full day of Chichen-itza... if you are totally into mayan ruins... try Tulum....its closer, usually cooler since you are near the beach. its kind of like Chichen-itza lite....or do private tours which are more money...but usually quicker ...since not picking up and dropping off at multiple hotels
I think u guys might miss the real fun, HALLOWEEN just saying, will see u guys there for a few days any how, Cheers,.:cheerleaders:
