Help!! I'm really trying not to get depressed about this, but I'm starting to get worried that this storm could still be messing with flights on Thursday, and that our flight could be delayed or cancelled. Not cool... Paula, I'm gonna need you to hang a right and hit Cuba instead. Thanks...
Im right there with ya... Im not worried about the actual vacation, I am confident that the weather will be clear by then... I am worried about the flights, the resort being deserted/damaged, etc...
I am fairly positive the resort won't be too damaged. It just looks like a Category 1 right now, and it is just going to skim past the coast. It does seem likely that they could stop flights for at least a day because of the wind. You are right the resort could be almost deserted. Maybe we will get to eat at one of the gourmet restaurants on Thursday night after all!

Curiously, I just read in one of the threads about "favorite restaurants" that right now, reservations are no longer needed for any of the restaurants at the resort. That'd be cool if that's the case.
That was the case the first time we went there in May '09. I think that they don't require reservations during the slower times of the year. If that's the case, that would be great!
Last night I told Beth about the then, tropical storm and that we thought it'd be no big deal. This morning, I emailed her some hurricane info and she responds back to me with "that bitch needs to quit acting up"!
