I'm paranoid about my room I won't even let house keeping clean it. I do it myself. And just tip them for a weeks worth of towels and sheets etc.. Sometimes they forget to close guest room doors which allow people to enter. Guest themselves are also the blame of this. When I leave my room I always put a small piece of paper wedged in the door so if I comeback if it's laying on the floor....someone more than likely entered it. Knock on wood I have not had any issues with thefts from my room
