I am going to have to book 2 more trips just so I can use all my theme night ideas. Making up my mind is not my strongest trait.
We are there part of your trip!! 2 weeks I am jealous! My advice, don't take all the extra clothes you think you will need. Take outfits for theme nights because that's fun, but you may only need a few outfits to go "off the resort" in. Lots of swimsuits--really just bottoms are needed, a few cover ups, a few outfits for dinners since lingerie at dinner is kind of frowned upon on that night, a light sweatshirt. Be good about hanging stuff up that you wore to breakfast or dinner to rewear another time--stuff wrinkles fast there!! (ie, I might wear a simple (boring) sundress to dinner, I hang it up (possibly sober at this time) and then re-wear it the next morning to go get chairs, coffee, sit on the beach for a bit) I also know lots of people who bring tons of shoes--I have figured out that I never wear them all so I have started taking flip flops (and an extra pair in case you lose a pair or it breaks) and a flat pair of sandals and maybe 2 pairs of heels. Also pack extra sunglasses!!! They are a bit pricey there and cheap. lol!!!
My mailman and Amazon have the same thoughts. Introduced a friend to Amazon shopping...drunk dress shopping is a blast!! lol
