Question: Why would anyone need an "airport transfer"? To me it just makes more sense to grab a cab when we get there. Thoughts or advice??
We will be there November 28th-December 5th. We just got back two weeks ago and couldn't wait to go again!!
We used USA Transfers in July. We arrived early, out of the gate at 8:00 am, breezed through customs, and they were waiting for us in the loading area. We drove straight to TTR with no other passengers aboard. I think it was $70 round trip for two. I'm not sure what a taxi would cost but I would imagine it would be close if not more.
Ordering transfers ahead of time is just easier for me. You can just grab a cab on the day, but I find the mayhem of the front of the airport overwhelming. I like booking transfers (bit cheaper) ahead of time knowing that I just have to find the guy with the USA Transfers uniform on, and that's it, all sorted. Already agreed price and sorted out collection from the resort on return, so no chance of being overcharged.
