Pounding one (six hundred) back. Vacation is arriving quickly; some form of Halloween party this weekend, at least I imagine; maybe go as Chuck Norris or possibly just one of his fists; the perfect costume is often subtlety; too much Norris can be a lot like a beautiful snow and a sudden inexplicable lump of hail smacking you in the face as you’re poised heavenward for flake fall. A dry weekend after that; then, that very next Thursday, on my way, little bottles of Jack Daniel’s on the plane. Thanks for the information in regards to the clubs, travel and whatnot; a ride back isn’t so bad, especially considering the cost covers drinks, admission and a ride there. I’m sure I’ll be able to find a bus or cab back—even if in drunken stupor—a guaranteed drunken stupor. The corollary of a whiskey man is in the way he walks and slurs his speech at the end of the night, how he fetches a cab or bus or the first couple he misses to sudden vertigo—does he still have all his clothes? :-|

sooooon I’ve been working on a flux-capacitor, Doc’s version, trying to formulate time travel, jump ahead a week and a half. I can see it now, myself lying facedown on the sand, crabs scuttling by, small claws clamping erratically overhead, gentle lapping of the ocean marrying my body, seeping quietly away. Not knowing how or when I passed out there. I smell tequila, and of course that wakes me—these aren’t my shorts. Still, where can I find some Juevos Rancheros? Closing in. :lol: (in this emoticon I'm expressing anticipation).
