For the first time in 5 years we are going down to Cancun on a non inclusive plan... the price was too good to pass up on.

Has anyone had any bad experiences with this before??

We figured we wanted to eat at more then the hotel this year and drink bottled beer instead of watered down beer.

I have done it and never had a problem. You just have to go out and find food rather than just sitting down at your hotel to eat. Not really that bad, lets you get out and experience more of cancun!

    The downside?
Restaurants and drinks can be rather expensive in the Hotel Zone, and thus the advantage of going AI.

If you aren't going AI, I'd suggest making a trip to the Wal-Mart and stocking up on booze....

    I will re-phrase that... haha

How much is a 2-4 of Corona

How much is a cheaper 2-4 of beer (pacifco or something cheap)

How much is a 40 of tequilla (both Jose and cheaper)

How much is a 40 of rum?

You guys are all beauties thanks so much

Is there a duty free on arrivals side at cancun airport?

As duty free in England is not worth it.
